Thunderbirds Charities Donates $10,000 to Friendship Foundation For the Center for Modern Aging Wellness Center

Glendale, AZ., June 11 – Friendship Foundation the philanthropic arm of Friendship Retirement Corporation is pleased to announce a $10,000 donation was received by Thunderbirds Charities to support “The Center for Modern Aging” wellness center located on the campus of Glencroft Senior Living.  Thunderbirds Charities donation has chosen to direct these funds to be used for a new lift in the pool.

The mission of the Thunderbirds Charities is to assist children and families, help people in need and improve the quality of life in our communities.  The organization’s giving is directed toward organizations based or with a significant presence in Arizona.  Glencroft Senior Living is the largest non-profit continuum of care property in the state of Arizona with 48 years of history.  The Center for Modern Aging will be the newest addition on campus and will provide residents with a wellness program that will impact residents’ wellbeing, including reduced mobility, lack of independence, safety concerns and age specific health issues.  Glencroft Senior Living strives to improve resident’s quality of life, reduce their dependency on others and improve all aspects of their daily life.
