What Is Glencroft Generations?
Glencroft Generations is a bold step toward a future of senior living that prioritizes shared purpose, diverse community, and real connection. Through a unique partnership with Thrive AZ and Bezos Academy, we’re welcoming:
-
Young adults who have aged out of foster care
-
A tuition-free preschool offering Montessori-based early education
-
Opportunities for our residents to mentor, connect, and grow alongside them
This initiative expands on our identity as a modern CCRC and a not-for-profit organization committed to building community through every stage of life.
Introducing The Generations Court
To support this vision, we’re rebranding Court 8 on our campus as The Generations Court — a dedicated hub for intergenerational housing and early childhood learning.
What’s happening in Generations Court:
-
Safe, transitional housing for Thrive AZ’s young adults
-
A new Bezos Academy preschool facility
-
Resident programming and mentorship opportunities
-
New signage, shared outdoor spaces, and gathering zones

“We’re not just creating housing — we’re creating connection.”
Why Intergenerational Living Matters
Intergenerational living isn’t a trend — it’s a proven model for improving well-being, reducing loneliness, and building community trust.
At Glencroft, this means:
-
Residents sharing life experience with younger neighbors
-
Preschoolers brightening the days of our independent and assisted living wings
-
Purposeful engagement that reinforces ZoeLife’s wellness pillars: intellectual, social, purposeful, and emotional health
This aligns with national movements redefining aging in place, community-based aging, and multigenerational wellness.

FAQ: Glencroft Generations
A new intergenerational program that integrates foster youth and preschool children into Glencroft’s senior campus to promote shared purpose and connection.
They are individuals supported by Thrive AZ — a nonprofit that helps youth aging out of foster care build stable, independent futures.
Bezos Academy provides tuition-free, high-quality preschools for underserved families. One is being built on Glencroft’s campus.
It’s the newly renamed section of Glencroft previously called Court 8 — now reimagined as a space for multigenerational living and learning.
It offers meaningful engagement, reduces isolation, and increases joy by giving residents a new way to share wisdom and feel needed.
Not at all. We remain a full continuum CCRC with independent living, assisted living, memory care, and skilled nursing on-site.
Glencroft Generations isn’t just about new residents or a new preschool. It’s about living better, together — building a future where aging is active, joyful, and connected across every generation.
Because at Glencroft, aging doesn’t mean stepping back. It means stepping into community.
