Glencroft Center for Modern Aging is the largest ‘retirement community’ in Arizona. Over the course of 50 years we have built a community and a campus that offers our residents a seamless transition as their care needs evolve – all within our beautiful 40-acre property.
Not a Retirement Community…A Place to Live!
…retirement community…senior living communities…names like that conjure up negative images in many peoples’ minds. That’s why, several years ago, we decided to change the narrative from senior living, from retirement community, to ‘successful aging’. Older generations don’t want to feel dismissed to live a monotonous life at a senior citizen facility. Glencroft Center for Modern Aging is a shift in a mindset.
Our focus is on prioritizing the needs and desires of our residents, emphasizing wellness at every turn and that is reflected in our campus amenities, our residents’ lifestyles, and in our ZoeLife™ program.
We have a very lively Activities Department that offers a wide variety of opportunities for residents to have fun, including special events and entertainment. We offer fitness classes, worship services, even adult education classes at Glencroft University. You can learn more about that in our Lifestyle section.
We also have a 24-hour security team that ensures the safety and security of our campus and our residents. You can learn more about that subject in our frequently asked questions section.
Campus Amenities

Life on campus is like a small village; we have many amenities on site including an indoor pool, several dining options, a bar, a bank, a barber shop, and a beauty/nail salon – all located on the Glencroft campus. We also have several vendors who provide on-site services for residents. Here’s just a taste of campus life:
While our independent living residences all have kitchens or kitchenettes, who doesn’t enjoy dining out from time to time? We have gourmet dining options on campus, staffed by professional chefs.
Henry’s has great made-to-order menu selections for breakfast, lunch and/or dinner, while the Towers Dining Room is a cafeteria style restaurant – especially popular for the soup, salad and dessert bar during lunch hours! The Copper Club, located next to Henry’s, has an exclusive vibe; a sophisticated spot to enjoy a cocktail, have some dinner, or watch a ballgame with friends.
Next to Towers Dining is the ‘Latte Da’ Bistro to satisfy caffeine needs, or a shake, or something entirely different! We also have several other dining spaces in our higher-level care areas on campus, where family and friends can dine with residents.

No matter your age, looking good can go a long way to helping you feel good! We have a barber shop, and a beauty and nail salon easily accessible on campus.
We also have a chiropractor, podiatrist and massage therapist who take on-site appointments.
Independent living residents can access third party on-demand health care providers who will come to your home, seven days a week.
*Services provided by independent vendors. Glencroft does not control & is not responsible for the delivery of these services.
