Our Mission
The mission of the Glencroft Friendship Foundation is simple – To raise funds to benefit our community and its residents. The Foundation organizes and manages fundraising efforts to support the needs of nearly 900 residents at the Glencroft Center for Modern Aging.
The Foundation provides direct financial assistance to its residents, and transportation for residents to community and medical appointments. The Foundation also raises funds for Glencroft community programs and project enhancements.
How Do We Work?
The Foundation achieves its mission of supporting Glencroft by writing grants to foundations and soliciting corporate sponsors, holding fundraising events, processing donations and bequests, and coordinating its tax credit program.
How Can You Make a Difference?
Rest assured that any funds you donate are used wisely in support of our residents’ well-being. The Glencroft Friendship Foundation earned a Platinum rating from the GuideStar charity rating service. The highest rating awarded to non-profits. Here are the ways you can make a difference:
Kroger Community Rewards
The Kroger Family of Companies supports local communities by giving back through programs like Fry’s Food Stores Community Rewards. It’s an easy way to raise money for your favorite organization just by doing your regular grocery shopping.
- Make a digital account
- Create or sign in to your Fry’s digital account and make sure your Shopper’s Card is linked.
- Pick an organization to support
- In your account, go to Community Rewards, search for the organization you want, select it, and save.

- You can change or review your selection at any time under your account details.

- Shop like normal
- Every time you use your Shopper’s Card, Fry’s donates a portion of your spending to your chosen organization (Glencroft!). There’s no extra cost to you.
- If you have questions, Fry’s Customer Service can help.
- Customers and organizations can sign up at any time.Just be sure your preferred store is set to see participating organizations or to apply in the right area.
