Lights, Camera, Connection: What Game Show Week Is All About
Game Show Week (July 21–25, 2025) is no ordinary calendar filler. It’s a celebration of vitality, friendly competition, and lifelong fun. Designed across all levels of care — from independent living to skilled nursing — the week taps into residents’ nostalgia, curiosity, and stage presence.
Hosted in Glencroft’s on-campus venues, this week-long series of game-inspired events is part of a larger philosophy: that senior living can be vibrant, engaging, and wildly entertaining.

The Wellness Within the Fun
Game Show Week is more than fun and games. It’s deeply aligned with Glencroft’s ZoeLife wellness model, which focuses on the six pillars of well-being: physical, social, spiritual, intellectual, purposeful, and emotional health.
Here’s how Game Show Week checks all the boxes:
ZoeLife Pillar | Game Show Week Activity |
---|---|
Physical | Carpetball, Back Lot tournaments, dance segments |
Social | Karaoke, Let’s Make a Deal audience bonding |
Spiritual | Shared moments, laughter, and gratitude |
Intellectual | Trivia, Price guessing, strategy-based games |
Vocational | Resident roles as greeters, helpers, co-hosts |
Emotional | Humor, nostalgia, and intergenerational pride |
Why It Matters
For over 50 years, Glencroft has championed aging with independence, dignity, and fun. Game Show Week is a glowing example of that spirit — proving that life after retirement can be active, meaningful, and, above all, joyful.
It’s more than a theme week. It’s a showcase of a community where aging is truly aged to perfection.
